Spring Fling 2008 will take place across Dumfries & Galloway from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 May 2008. Spring Fling offers the exciting opportunity to meet with South West Scotland’s talented artists and makers in their individual creative space for three days only. The studios of this year’s 87 participants are allocated right across Dumfries & Galloway. Whether tucked away in a farm steading or set up in a dedicated studio, all are keen to welcome you and offer the chance to explore contemporary art and craft. Meeting a maker of a work and finding out how and where it was made is a special privilege and also great fun. Whether you are looking for that special gift, are curious to watch an artist at work, even have a go yourself, or simply fancy a great day out Spring Fling is for you. Not only will you be discovering the region’s arts and crafts, you’ll also be enjoying stunning locations across the breadth of the beautiful region. |
